🌞 Is 2.0 Tdi Better Than 1.9 Tdi

Worse mileage than a Golf/Jetta, because it's a bigger car with a bigger engine. Very nice cars once you dump $10k into them. (OK, that estimate might be a bit high. But, it's not THAT high.) I think a tdi would be better suited as they sit at a lower rpm so it feels a little more comfortable over longer journeys. id try your best to go for a 1.9tdi. I have a mk5 sdi. o7 plate. i love my car. handles well, looks great. build quality is second to none, but i constantly find myself wishing i could overtake and accelerate more confidently. drove a 1.9 and although it wasnt fast, it wasnt slow, which the sdi just is. If you plan on making your next car purchase in 2010 or 2015 then I would definitely recommend the TDI. Properly serviced, it will last much longer than a 1.8T. And when late-in-life problems do pop up, the TDI engine is simpler than the 1.8T, especially in the top end (2 valves/cyl for the TDI vs 5 valves/cyl for the 1.8T).
